Freddie Diaz, a Southwest Detroit local artist, designed three wall murals for SER. Freddie designed the murals seen on the outdoor wall between 9215 & 9301 Michigan also in the front wall in the Auxiliary building (Stecker) and YouthBuild Radio station.
Freddy’s career goals include continuing getting paid to paint murals and travel the world. Freddy knows first-hand how difficult it can be to get the courage to pursue your dreams no matter how big. He has had great mentors throughout his life that has inspired and shapes his future. He would like to give back by hopefully encouraging other creative youth in the city to follow their dreams.
