SER Adult Education Services

SER Metro provides adult education services, in partnership with the Ford Motor Fund, to community members at two Ford Resource and Engagement Center (FREC) service locations. The FREC is a community center where people can learn new skills, obtain needed services, develop new talents and celebrate community.

Yesica Sanchez

C.N.A., Select Specialty Hospital

Yesica Sanchez dropped out of school to work and help her family. Later, she discovered there were few opportunities for her without a HS Diploma or GED. She joined SER’s Adult Education program at the Ford Resource & Engagement Center. Within 3 months of beginning the program, Yesica took and passed all subjects and received her GED. She is now employed with Select Specialty Hospital as a C.N.A.
